Following our preliminary announcement in mid-2024 regarding the strategic alliance between Houtwerf, Distri-Hout and Deli Home, we are pleased to confirm that the collaboration agreement was formally executed on Friday, 14 February 2025. This partnership will further consolidate our position in the Benelux market and broaden the platform for our innovative and circular wood product portfolio.
A Unified Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation
Houtwerf and Deli Home share a firm commitment to 100% FSC/PEFC-certified timber as a renewable and environmentally responsible raw material. Through high service standards, extensive product expertise and a joint focus on circularity, we continue to advance sustainable wood solutions for the construction and interior sectors. An exemplary illustration of this commitment is Powerplex Bio, an innovative plywood panel utilising bio-based adhesive, free from hazardous substances such as formaldehyde.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the execution of our long-term growth strategy and reinforces our position as a reliable supplier of high-quality, sustainable wood products within the Benelux. Operations in the Netherlands will continue to be managed independently from our Zoeterwoude location under the leadership of CEO Pieter Verbeek.
Jeroen Lauwers has been appointed Managing Director of the combined activities of Distri-Hout and Deli Home in Belgium, while Henri Verbeek will remain the primary point of contact for Distri-Hout customers and suppliers.
