Wood is naturally a biobased product, but traditional sheet material is often bonded with adhesives that contain harmful substances, such as toxic formaldehyde. We felt that this had to change and are proud to have implemented an innovation.
In just five years, we have developed two complete product lines: Powerplex Bio and PowerFloor. These sustainable sheet materials are bonded with a completely natural adhesive that is free of toxic and carcinogenic substances. This makes our products not only safer for the people who work with them or have them in their homes, but also better for the environment. An added bonus? After demolition, our products are fully compostable, unless they are reused.
Discover the possibilities of sustainable sheet material without compromising on quality, health, or the environment!
Circularity primarily stands for the conservation of raw materials and the (re)use of existing materials instead of new materials and unprocessed raw materials. We work together with our partners on the development and production of circular wood products. We do this by giving old, no longer productive trees from plantations a second life and processing them into our products.
To gain a complete picture of the environmental impact of our business activities, we commission a footprint calculation every year. These insights help us to take steps every year to reduce our environmental impact. Since 2023, we have been offsetting the emissions that we are not (yet) able to reduce by planting bamboo through Bamboo Village, and we are now climate neutral.
